The terms for using SYNZ Studio and for subscribing to the Pro plan. They are written to be read: if anything is unclear, email us at info@synz.studio and we will clear it up.
SYNZ Studio (synz.studio) is a service provided by Pablo Alvar Martínez, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 45736346H, with registered address at c/ Arquitecto Juan Ochoa 3, Córdoba (Spain). Contact email: info@synz.studio.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you subscribe to the Pro plan, you also accept the purchase terms in the “Plans and payment” section.
You need an account to save projects, publish takes or subscribe to Pro. It is created with your name, your email and a password, or by signing in with Google.
There are two plans. Free never expires and does not ask for a card. Pro costs €9 a month, VAT included, charged in advance on the same day each month from the date you sign up.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by the payment gateway, not by us: our system only keeps the date, the amount and the last four digits.
If you subscribe as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from sign-up to withdraw without giving a reason and get your money back. Just email info@synz.studio saying that you are withdrawing; we refund the amount using the same payment method within 14 days of receiving your message.
When you subscribe to Pro, access opens instantly, so you expressly request that the service begin before that period ends. If you withdraw once the service has started, the portion corresponding to the days used may be deducted. Once the service for a period has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal is lost for that period.
Whatever you compose, record, export or publish in SYNZ is yours, one hundred percent. We claim no ownership of and no percentage on your works, neither now nor if you stop being a user. You can sell them, register them or upload them anywhere you like without asking our permission or mentioning us.
For the service to work we need a limited, technical permission: to host and play back your files in order to serve them to you, and (only if you publish a take) to show it in the community under your username. That permission is non-exclusive, free of charge, and ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You can use the sounds, presets, kits and samples that come with SYNZ in your works without limit and royalty-free, including commercially. What you cannot do is redistribute them as a sound library, that is, take them out of the context of a work to sell them or give them away on their own.
The software, the modules, the design, the SYNZ brand and the course content belong to Pablo Alvar Martínez or his licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. Subscribing to a plan gives you the right to use the service, not to copy it.
In particular, you may not decompile, disassemble or extract the code of the modules; copy or resell the courses and their videos; or use the SYNZ brand or design to present another product.
SYNZ includes third-party components with their own licences. The credits and licences for those components are on the credits page.
We ask for little, and all of it is obvious. By using SYNZ you agree not to:
Publishing a take makes it public: anyone with the link can listen to it, and it appears in the community under your username. You can unpublish it whenever you like; from that moment the link stops working, although we cannot recover copies that others downloaded before.
We may remove a take that breaches these terms or that a rights holder claims. If you believe a take infringes your rights, email us at info@synz.studio with the link and an explanation, and we will review it.
SYNZ Studio is under continuous development and some features are marked as beta. A beta feature may fail, change or be withdrawn; if we withdraw a significant Pro feature without replacing it, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will do what is reasonable to announce scheduled downtime and to keep it outside peak hours.
Your backups. We store your projects, but the ultimate backup is yours: export whatever you do not want to lose. The browser also stores data on your device, and clearing the site data deletes it.
The beta tester program has its own terms, published on the program page.
We are liable for damage arising directly from a breach on our part, up to the amounts you have paid in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for the loss of works you have not kept a copy of, for loss of profits, or for failures caused by your device, your browser or your connection.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants to consumers, or our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
We may change these terms. If a change affects you significantly, we will notify you by email 30 days in advance; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. The version in force is always this page, with its update date at the top.
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts of your place of residence and to the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If you subscribe as a professional or a business, the courts of Córdoba have jurisdiction.
How we process your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
